A big second half allowed the Falcons (1-1) to gain this non-league triumph. After being in a 1-1 tie at halftime on Adam Comer's goal, Firestone got second-half tallies by Zack Spannbauer, Richard Milford and Roni Choueiry. Choueiry also had an assist, as did Matt Nolan. Logan Hershberger scored McKinley's goal. The Falcons had 11 shots on goal to five for the Bulldogs and enjoyed a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks. Liam O'Rourke made four saves for the winners. "Both teams played OK defensively in the first half," Firestone coach Mike Householder said, "then we came out in the second half with some adjustments.
